When it snows on the mountains, they turn into something completely different - into a landscape that we admire and marvel at, that we want to discover slowly and gradually. The mountain air is even fresher than usual, the mountains seem to be even higher and more rugged.
But they still invite you on an adventure. Skiing, cross-country skiing, or simply going for a walk ... if you want to explore the deep snow, you can use snowshoes or touring skis. We are here to help and advise you!
You can easily reach the Alpe di Siusi ski area with the Ski Bus (Hubertus is just a 5 minute walk from the bus stop). On the high plateau, you will find 23 lifts, 60 kilometres of slopes, several fun parks, a ski kindergarten and, of course, a professional ski school. You can also easily reach the famous Sellaronda and the Gröden ski area from here.
Of course, skiing is not the only thing you can do in winter - you don't have to take the lift if you don't want to. You can also go ski touring and snowshoe hiking. If you especially like hiking, you should try an excursion with snowshoes. They will give you very special and fond memories of dormant nature.

If you're on holiday with your family and your children are still small, there's nothing better than an extensive sledding session. Perhaps you will go on your sledding adventure together with other guests and your children will make new friends with whom they will have lots of fun. Hubertus is THE place to stay when it comes to getting to know other people and immersing yourself in nature with them.
Unfortunately, you can't go jogging or trail running in winter - or can you? Naturally! All you have to do is get your skis and you can treat yourself to a good sporting workout! The Alpe di Siusi is perfect for cross-country skiing, as it is a really wide plateau with plenty of space for cross-country trails. You can also try it out for the first time here. If you don't like it, just do something else or sit down in one of the many cabins.
